Many social activities are arranged during the year as well as various field trips and participation in several annual exhibitions.

| Membership, full, concession, student and senior card member’s entitlements: |
- Monthly newsletter.
- Social activities and outings.
- Annual Christmas Party (Free to members and a partner).
- Bankstown Theme Exhibition ( April).
- Shopping centre exhibition
- Monthly Demonstrations by professional artist.
- Monthly outdoor painting & sketching trips.
- Free workshops untutored.
- Quarterly Tutored Workshops.
- General Meetings quarterly (preceded by free BBQ).
- Associate Members may attend General meetings, Demonstrations and social functions.
- Associate Members are not eligible to vote at AGM elections, hang artworks in gallery or enter BAS exhibitions.
Membership becomes due every January.
