Many social activities are arranged during the year as well as various field trips and participation in several annual exhibitions.



Membership, full, concession, student and senior card member’s entitlements:
  • Monthly newsletter.
  • Social activities and outings.
  • Annual Christmas Party (Free to members and a partner).
  • Bankstown Theme Exhibition ( April).
  • Shopping centre exhibitions. (September).
  • Quarterly encouragement exhibitions in De Haan Gallery (1 Painting $1 entry fee).
  • Members can hang painting for sale in De Haan Gallery free (Limit of 3 artworks).
  • Monthly Demonstrations by professional artist.
  • Monthly outdoor painting & sketching trips.
  • Free workshops untutored.
  • Quarterly Tutored Workshops.
  • General Meetings quarterly (preceded by free BBQ).
  • Associate Members may attend General meetings, Demonstrations and social functions.
  • Associate Members are not eligible to vote at AGM elections, hang artworks in gallery or enter BAS exhibitions.

Membership becomes due every January.
